Abstract

The great benefits of oil palm for both the state, the private sector, and the people who expect the growth and productivity of palm oil to increase continuously so that the factors that affect the growth and productivity of oil palm must be considered. The purpose of this study was to develop an expert system to diagnose oil palm plant diseases to help farmer groups in the village of Banjar Kertarahayu to obtain quality yields. The system development method used is the extreme programming method (XP), the software used is Web PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) with a MySQL database and uses Fuzzy Mamdani and Certainty Factor methods to determine the certainty of disease outbreaks. The end result of making this expert system is to help the community of the Banjar Kertarahayu Village Farmers group in diagnosing the oil palm disease they are experiencing so that the treatment can be easily identified and increase yields.
