PERANCANGAN SISTEM PEMESANAN JASA MAKE-UP ARTIST SYFA BEAUTY BERBASIS WEB

Abstract

Syfa Beauty, a makeup artist service provider, continues to struggle with the manual instant messaging booking process, which often leads to scheduling errors and delays in confirmation. This research aims to create a web-based makeup artist booking system that will simplify customer bookings and help Syfa Beauty manage their service schedules more efficiently. To develop this system, the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was applied, emphasizing speed in development through prototyping and continuous user feedback. The steps in the RAD method include requirements planning, user design, development, and cutover. The system was built using PHP as the programming language, with the Laravel framework and a MySQL database. Research findings indicate that this web-based booking system can reduce booking errors, speed up the appointment confirmation process, and increase customer satisfaction. With this system, Syfa Beauty can manage bookings in a more organized, efficient, and responsive manner to customer needs.
