IMPELEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED FUND PROCESSING INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR GUNUNG KEMALA VILLAGE

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has significantly impacted various aspects of life, including fund management in the Gunung Kemala Subdistrict. Currently, the fund management process in Kelurahan Gunung Kemala is still carried out manually, which includes recording in books, archiving payment receipts, and preparing reports using Microsoft Word and Excel. This manual process presents several challenges, such as inefficient data processing, lack of transparency in providing information to the public, and time-consuming reporting procedures. This research aims to design and implement a web-based information system for managing subdistrict funds to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency in the financial management of Kelurahan Gunung Kemala. The system is expected to simplify the processes of data entry, retrieval, deletion, and report generation related to fund management. The development of this web-based subdistrict fund management information system is intended to assist the Gunung Kemala Subdistrict Government, particularly the village staff and treasurer, in managing village funds more quickly, effectively, and efficiently. The system is developed using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and MySQL (database), and the development process follows the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. In addition, the system design utilizes Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a modeling tool.
