PERANCANGAN SISTEM ABSENSI BERBASIS QR CODE MENGGUNAKAN LARAVEL DI PT.BF

Abstract

The development of information technology has influenced many sectors to switch to digital systems, including in terms of attendance management. There are companies engaged in the health sector that still use manual attendance recording methods, which are more time-consuming, less accurate, prone to human error and do not support real-time access. The purpose of this research is to develop a QR Code-based digital attendance system with a background to overcome these problems built with the Laravel framework. The system development method used is Waterfall. The Waterfall development method has the initial stages of needs analysis, system design, system implementation, testing to maintenance. This system is built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for its interface and uses Laravel and MySQL for its database management. System testing is done with Black Box Testing, the result is that all features provided in the system run with the expected results. From the developed system, recording attendance becomes faster, more accurate and accessed in real-time. The implementation of this web-based system is expected to be able to provide a more modern and effective solution for PT. BF to manage the attendance of apprentices.
