Abstract

In recent years, advancements in information technology have transformed the way companies operate, including warehouse management in the textile trade sector. PT. Dunia Sandang Pratama faces various challenges such as manual data recording, suboptimal integration of Quality Control (QC), and unsynchronized operational reports. These issues have led to delays in decision-making, an increased risk of human error, and decreased customer satisfaction. This study aims to design and develop a web- based warehouse management system to automate data recording, integrate the QC module, and provide real-time reporting. The research employs the waterfall approach, which comprises stages such as requirements analysis, system design, code implementation, testing using black box testing methods, and maintenance. Data were collected through document studies and interview to identify both functional and non-functional requirements, followed by the design of user interfaces, database models, and business process flow diagrams. Implementation was carried out using the Laravel framework based on PHP, and database management was performed using MySQL, resulting in integrated modules for goods receiving, QC, barcode management, and stock control. The research findings indicate that the developed system functions effectively, enhances operational efficiency, and meets user requirements. These results confirm that web-based applications can address warehouse management issues and support faster, more accurate decision-making, thereby positively impacting productivity and customer satisfaction.
