DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT REPORT ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM ALONG WITH ONLINE POMG COMMUNICATION
Abstract
Accreditation is an important aspect in improving school performance. However, much of the data supporting accreditation is still in physical form (non-digital), so it takes a lot of time and effort to process it according to the standards set by the National Education (Diknas). Currently, social networks such as WhatsApp (WA) are often used as a means of communication between homeroom teachers and parents of students. However, WA is still separate from the school administration system, so it has not been fully integrated. This study focuses on the development of a student achievement report system application (report card) that refers to school accreditation data and a communication system between homeroom teachers and parents. Data were collected through a review of relevant documents, interviews, system needs analysis, and system implementation. Testing was carried out using the Black Box Test and Alpha Test methods. The results of the study showed that the web-based school administration reporting system had a feasibility rate of 100% in the Black Box Test and 100% in the Alpha Test. Meanwhile, the communication feature that supports the online POMG (Parents and Teachers Association) meeting function has a feasibility rate of 89% in the Black Box Test and 86% in the Alpha Test. With these results, the developed system is suitable for use by schools, assisting in reporting learning outcomes, and facilitating monitoring of student attendance.
