Abstract

Object detection systems are an important aspect in the field of computer vision that supports the development of advanced technology as it is today. For example, is the detection of letters, In this study will try to use objects that are hijaiyah letters. The use of hijaiyah letters as detection objects because hijaiyah letters have uniqueness and diversity in terms of shape and pronunciation. In its development, hijaiyah letter detection system still has problems in the shooting factor,image size, and letter shape of the detected image. So, in this study the authors used the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to try to solve the problem. CNN is part of deep learning that is used to perform the learning process on computers to find the best reprenation. CNN consists of 3 stages, namely Input data, Feature Learning, and Classification. Each input data will go through all three stages with the filtering process. CNN implemented the study using the python programming language. image size, and letter shape of the detected image.
